How can I learn more?

We’ve provided as much information as possible on the website but should you have any more questions then drop us a line at findme@chichester1.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Who has access to my data?

Your data will not be sold onto any third party and will be used solely for the Chichester1 directory.

How do I report an event posting?

If you wish to report an unsuitable or inappropiate event please click on the green flag next to it to trigger an alert.

How do I remove my details?

If you no longer wish for your listing to appear on Chichester1 then please contact us and your account will be deleted.

How can I change my password?

You can change your password by logging into the administrative area of your account and going to the Account Details section.

What if I forget my username and password?

Select Login in the top right hand corner of the screen. Here you will see a ‘Forgot Your Password?’ link, you will then be taken to a page where you will be asked for the email address you used to register for the account. Once entered your password will soon be winging it’s way to you!

How do I edit my entry?

Chichester1 allows you to edit your entry as often as you like meaning it can always be kept up to date with your latest business information. To edit your information you will need to: Log in to your account through the log in button at the top right hand corner of the page. You will then be taken to the administrative area of your account. From here you can edit all your information. If you're still struggling then please send us an email to help@chichester1.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

What format do you accept pictures in?

All images uploaded to the site must be in a jpeg format (the normal file format for images straight off a camera).

What information can I display?

This depends on which account you choose. To find out more about each option have a look at our registration page.

When will my entry appear in the directory?

As soon as we have received payment for your listing your account will be activated and there for the world to see. Unless of course if you’ve chosen our free option in which case it will appear immediately.

How do I register?

We’ve made the registration process as easy as possible... however if you need a helping hand through the process then we’ve put together this handy step by step guide: Go to the registration page. Select which subscription you want to sign up to. Enter your details and select Create Account You will then be emailed your password with a link to sign in Once signed in you will be able to edit your details and upload images etc. Finally, contact us to make payment in order for your account to go live. Do I have to pay to add my business?

There are 4 levels of membership ranging from a basic account which is free, up to our comprehensive 'Total Exposure' account which is priced at £150 per year. To find out more about the different options and pricings have a look at our registration page.

What are the benefits of joining?

Potential customers can find out about your company online by searching the directory or by using search terms in Google or other search engines to access your business listing. Not only will your business benefit from your presence on the listings, but you are gaining the vital links back to your website which will boost your own search engine ranking. Chichester1.com has been developed by local web design company, Access- by Design. Having for many years offered people in the Chichester and South Coast area flexible web design solutions they decided it was about time that there was a business directory to match and so Chichester1 was created.
